Why did you join HB Health Hub?


My daughter got me the offer in 2019 for my 50th as she was already on her journey with the Hub. She said mum you keep saying you need to do something so give it a go.

What were your expectations?


My goal was fat loss my daughter had got engaged and was due to get married 2020. Also I hadn’t really been to a gym and would not have known how to start using all the equipment and how to workout with weights etc. I was terrified on my 1st day.

Have we met your expectations?


Fat loss goal was met 18kg lost in 5 months and also felt more confident doing the workouts as the weeks/months went on. Having the coaches guiding and pushing me to do more has definitely made me want to go to the hub and I feel better after each session. I have definitely noticed a difference in my fitness levels.

What did you mostly takeaway from this experience?


Calorie deficit. Burn more calories than you eat = fat loss. Logged everything I ate. The importance of protein, fibre and sleep. getting my steps in everyday.

When you speak to others about your journey, what are you most excited about telling them?


At the start colleagues/friends/family noticed the change In me and I told them HB HUB. A few joined me as well. Helder is a fantastic coach , very knowledgeable and passionate about helping you achieve your goals. If you want it, you have to make changes.

Do you feel you have come away from this experience with knowledge you can take away with you for the rest of your life?


Yes. Eat the foods that I like by making changes in the way I cook them. Making more Healthier choices. Knowing the calories in the food I eat by tracking them. Eat less calories than I burn to achieve fat loss. Getting my steps in will help me. Knowledge of how to exercise correctly.
